Yo Gabba Gabba Live!

This past weekend we went with our friends the Ryu's to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live! at Radio City Hall. I originally was a bit hesistant. Radio City Hall? Naomi? Really? I was over 20 before my first show at Radio City Hall. How was my squirmy two year going to appreciate the grandeur of Radio City Hall!? Still since our friends Andrew and Haewon were up for it, and Naomi is obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba, and she does generally get mesmerized anytime we see live performances, I figured we'd give it a shot.
For over two weeks I prepped her, talking to her about how we were going to go see all of the cast of Yo Gabba Gabba in person, including DJ Lance. I kept telling her how exciting it was and how she shouldn't be scared because they were our friends. She promised she wouldn't get scared. Still the pessimist in me re-envisioned our vacation to Disney World where my princess crazy toddler was so scared of the princesses parading through Disney, that she would become immobilized with her head buried in my shoulder.
Saturday came, and as soon as the lights went out, I knew we were in for a treat. The concert was simply amazing. Naomi had a blast, and was mesmerized and enchanted by all the characters on stage. The only time she got fussy was during intermission when she complained that she wanted more Yo Gabba Gabba.
We had an awesome time, and as proof, Naomi simply can't stop talking about how she saw Yo Gabba Gabba in person. She even told all of her daycare teachers, and to her delight found out that 2 of her classmates went to see the show as well. Her teachers told me how the three girls had a great conversation about the show. I wish I could have been there to witness 3 2-yr olds sharing their experience of Radio City Hall!!
We unfortunately forgot our camera, but Austin managed to snap some shots with his iPhone. And today, Naomi went to school wearing her new Yo Gabba Gabba tour t-shirt. How cute is that. PLUS check out her brand spanking new, first pair, of skinny jeans. She's too cute it cracks me up.

After the show with her bag full of loot
Family pic. Austin wearing DJ Lance glasses, and Naomi wearing her new Foofah headband.

Exhausted after a long day in the city. Still wearing her Foofah headband

Naomi rocker style. (this is how she does her "big smile")
